Vladimir Pomortzeff is a Russian documentary photographer and freelance journalist based in Prague, Czech Republic. He was born on 23 July 1974 in Sverdlovsk, USSR. He graduated from the Urals State Academy of Architecture and Arts in Yekaterinburg, Russia. His work has been recognized and awarded at numerous international photography contests. He is also known for his research dedicated to Russian war graves in the Czech Republic and the history of Russian Emigration.
